To Charles Pierre Baudelaire nature was not
to be repeated on a canvas but instead it should be
transformed by the artist's imagination and creativity.
While realism should be part of every artist's portfolio,
the ultimate expression of our raw feelings will emerge in
the lines, colors, and composition we use- and these should
be elements carefully orchestrated in all work that emerges
from our hands, without regard to style or genre, as it did
from the hands of the
